Birds on Wheels Holidays (OPC) Private Limited is headed by Satheesh Kumaran Nair popularly known as SK, a leading birding expert in India. SK gained considerable knowledge about destinations in India while crisscrossing the country as driver in logistics firms. From early childhood his fascination for nature, especially birds laid the foundations for the bird watcher in him. His dream of becoming a birder got a boost when an internationally renowned nature tour company availed his services as birder for a group from England during 1990s. After this he never looked back, carving a place for himself as a leading birder of international repute.
Birding – Not mere work but a passion
Being passionate about your work rather than working for a living makes a huge difference. For SK birding is not just a passion but a part of his persona. This makes him unique and much sought after which has been acclaimed by leaders of various groups who have availed his services.

He has to his credit more than 18 years of hands on experience in birding. Even though his area of operation is spread around South India and the Andaman islands, his expertise as birder in Indian scenario is well received by clients from around the world. English, Spanish and other European clients forms a major chunk of SK’s business.
